Pouches and bags
We supply foil chevron pouches in a foil laminate. The foil gives a near-total barrier to oxygen, moisture, and light, for sensitive devices, diagnostics, and reagents that need a long shelf life. Foil is not gas-permeable, so these pouches are typically radiation-sterilized. Sourced from qualified manufacturers in North America and Europe.

What it's for
Some products degrade when exposed to air, humidity, or light. A foil pouch blocks all three, which protects sensitive devices, diagnostics, and reagents over a long shelf life.
Foil does not breathe, so EtO gas cannot get in through the pouch wall. Foil pouches are typically sterilized with gamma or e-beam. If your process is EtO, ask us.

FAQ
Choose a foil pouch when the contents must be protected from oxygen, moisture or light. The foil laminate gives a near-total barrier. Typical applications include sensitive devices, diagnostics and reagents with long shelf-life needs.
Foil pouches are typically radiation sterilized, and they are compatible with gamma and e-beam. They are not gas-permeable, so they are not recommended for EtO unless paired with a header bag or breather. Steam is not yet confirmed, so ask us. Validate in your own sterilization cycle.
Yes. Custom sizes, printing and seal options are available, quoted per project. Foil chevron pouches are sourced from qualified manufacturers in North America and Europe and supplied by CleanCut. Manufacturer certificates are available on request. Each lot ships with our certificate of conformance, which records the manufacturer's lot number.
Request samples on the quote form. Give us the inside dimensions, what the contents need protection from, and your sterilization method. We will come back with questions and a sample plan.
