Die-cut components and cards
HDPE/LDPE film die-cut components are thin, flexible parts such as liners, protective layers, and interleaves. We cut them in our ISO Class 8 cleanroom from medical-grade HDPE/LDPE film, 28–60 µm (≈1.1–2.4 mil). They are not the rigid 10–35 mil HDPE mounting cards. Film parts are compatible with EtO, gamma, and e-beam. Quick-turn prototypes. No minimum order.

What it's for
Film components do small, specific jobs inside the package. A liner separates the device from another surface. A protective layer covers a finish or an edge. An interleave sits between parts so they do not rub or stick.
This is flexible film, 28–60 µm (≈1.1–2.4 mil). It is not the same product as our rigid HDPE cards at 10–35 mil (0.25–0.89 mm). If the part must hold a device in place, choose a card. If it must line, cover, or separate, choose film.
Film parts are compatible with EtO, gamma, and e-beam. PE film is not porous, so for EtO the parts go inside a package with a porous side, such as a Tyvek® or paper pouch or lid. Place them so they don't block the gas path to the device, and validate the cycle.

Ordering
Share a spec or CAD file, your customer's spec with its part number and revision, or a sketch or sample part if you don't have a spec yet. Tell us the tray or pouch it goes with and your sterilization method.
For a new design, ask about samples. We cut prototypes from the production material in weeks, not months, so you can test fit and seal early. For a part that is already validated, we cut first articles to check against the approved spec. A first-article inspection report is available on request.
No minimum order on parts we cut. Production typically ships in 2–3 weeks from your PO, and reorders are cut to the same spec revision and material.

No. These parts are flexible film, 28–60 µm (≈1.1–2.4 mil) thick. Our HDPE mounting cards are rigid and much thicker, at 10–35 mil (0.25–0.89 mm). Choose film when you need a thin, flexible layer. Choose a card when you need to hold a device in place.

Yes. If you convert film on your own line, we supply HDPE/LDPE film rollstock in the same 28–60 µm (≈1.1–2.4 mil) range. The rollstock is sourced from qualified manufacturers. The die-cut parts on this page are cut in our cleanroom.
