About CleanCut

A small cleanroom converter, on purpose.

Family-owned and operated in Kensington, Prince Edward Island, since 2021. The CleanCut team has over 30 years of experience in the plastics industry.

Our story

Why a small converter exists

CleanCut was founded in 2021 in Kensington, Prince Edward Island, as a family business. The CleanCut team has over 30 years of experience in the plastics industry.

Large converters are built for long runs. That leaves a gap for device makers, and the contract manufacturers who build for them, who need small prototype runs, a validation lot, a dozen part numbers for different programs, or a production part that changes more often than a big press schedule allows.

We built CleanCut for that gap: an ISO Class 8 cleanroom, an ISO 9001 quality system, no minimum order on the parts we cut, and quick-turn prototypes. We also supply the rollstock, pouches and bags that go with our parts, so everything but the device can come from one supplier, on one PO, with one person to call.

Leadership

The people you'll talk to

Call or email and you reach the people who run the business and the floor. For quotes, orders and deliveries, your contact is Michael Wollberg, at sales@cleancuthealthcare.com or +1 902-841-0746.

  • Katie Arsenault

    CEO

Katie spent years as CFO at a small medtech company, where sourcing reliable sterile barrier packaging at low volumes was a constant struggle. She knows first-hand what small device makers need from a packaging supplier, and that is why CleanCut exists.
  • Michael Wollberg

    Head of Sales

Michael brings thirty years of experience, primarily in plastics sales, to CleanCut. He is your contact for quotes, orders and deliveries, and makes sure every customer, whether a device maker or the contract manufacturer building for one, gets a straight answer.

Values

How we work

  • Answer fast.

A quote question shouldn't wait a week. We reply within one business day and tell you straight when we need more information.
  • Say what's true.

We tell you what we cut and what we supply, what we know and what you should validate.
  • Small is not second.

A ten-piece prototype order gets the same care as a production run.
  • Clean by default.

Cleanroom converting and virgin materials aren't an upgrade. They're how we work.

Continuity

Built to be around for the life of your device.

CleanCut was founded in 2021. We know that is young for a supplier to a device you may sell for ten years, so here is how we protect your supply.

The CleanCut team has over 30 years of experience in the plastics industry.

  • Your tooling and files.

Dies and specifications are stored on site, labeled to your part number, and backed up off site. Dies are your property once paid for.
  • Material on hand.

We keep at least four weeks of the materials we cut for active programs, and can hold finished stock against a blanket order.
  • Supplied items.

We keep the same source for your part and pass on any change notice. See our change notification policy.
  • Plans in writing.

We maintain a written business continuity plan covering power, equipment and key people.
  • If we ever couldn't supply.

We would release your dies and material specifications so another converter could make the part.
