Who we are
This website is operated by CleanCut Safety Inc., which does business as CleanCut Healthcare Packaging ("CleanCut", "we", "us"). We are the organization responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect
We collect what you choose to send us, plus limited technical data needed to run and protect the site.
Quote, sample, and engineering requests
When you use the request form, you may give us:
- The request type (quote, prototype samples, or engineering question)
- The products you are interested in
- Part details, such as the device maker's name, part number and revision, whether the part is already validated, tolerances, dimensions, thickness, tray or pouch substrate, sterilization method, and printing or tabbing needs
- Quantities and timing, such as project stage, prototype quantity, first order quantity, annual volume, quantities to price, and target date
- Whether you need an NDA before sending specs
- Files, such as specs, CAD, PDFs, or parts lists
- Notes you write
- Your name, company, work email, phone number (optional), ship-to country, and role (optional)
- Your consent for us to contact you about the request
Contact messages
When you use the contact form, you give us your name, company, email, your message, and your consent for us to reply.
Technical data
Like most websites, our hosting and security services process your IP address, browser and device details, and the pages you request. Our analytics tools collect usage data as described below.
How we use your information
We use the information you send to:
- Reply to your request, prepare quotes, plan samples, and answer engineering questions
- Send you a confirmation email with a summary of your request
- Keep a record of our communication with you
- Protect the site and our forms from spam and abuse
- Understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How submissions are delivered
When you submit a form, the details are sent to our team in two ways:
- By email. We use Resend, an email delivery service, to send your submission to our sales inbox and to send your confirmation email.
- To Slack. A copy of your submission is posted to a private channel in our internal Slack workspace, so the right person sees it quickly.
Only CleanCut staff who handle requests can see them.
File uploads
Files you attach to a request are stored in Vercel Blob, a file storage service. Each file is saved at a random, non-guessable web address. We share those links only with our team, through the email and Slack message described above.
We keep uploaded files for as long as we need them to respond to your request and support any resulting work. We delete them within 24 months of upload, or sooner if you ask us to.
Please only upload files you are allowed to share. If a spec is confidential, or covered by an NDA with your own customer, don't upload it yet. Tick the NDA box on the quote form, or email us, and we will sign your NDA or send our mutual NDA before you share it.
Hosting and security
This site is hosted by Vercel. Vercel processes technical data, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
To protect our forms from spam, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. It checks signals from your device and browser to tell people from automated bots. We use the result only to decide whether to accept the submission.
Analytics
We use two analytics tools to understand how the site is used.
Fathom Analytics is cookieless. It does not collect personal data and does not track you across sites. It gives us aggregate counts, such as page views and referrers.
Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how visitors move through the site. We run it with Google Consent Mode v2:
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics storage and ad storage are set to denied by default. Google Analytics does not set analytics cookies in those regions.
- Elsewhere, analytics storage is granted, so Google Analytics may set first-party cookies to measure visits.
- Ad user data and ad personalization are always denied. Google Signals and advertising features are turned off.
- Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works fully without analytics cookies.
Campaign source. If you arrive from a link with campaign tags (such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, or an ad click ID) or from another website, your browser keeps those values, the referring site's hostname, and the first page you landed on in session storage until you close the tab. We do not use cookies for this. If you send a quote or contact form, we include those details with your submission so our team knows which campaign or site brought you here.
We do not run advertising on this site.
Legal bases for processing
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, we rely on these legal bases:
- Steps before a contract. When you ask for a quote or samples, we process your details to respond and prepare a possible order.
- Legitimate interests. We reply to inquiries, keep business records, secure our site, and measure site use in aggregate. We balance these interests against your rights.
- Consent. Where the law requires consent, such as for analytics cookies in some regions, we rely on it. You can withdraw consent at any time.
In Canada, we collect, use, and disclose personal information with your consent, which you give when you submit a form, and as otherwise permitted by law.
International transfers
CleanCut is based in Canada. Our service providers, including Vercel, Resend, Slack, Cloudflare, Fathom, and Google, may process data in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different data protection laws from yours.
Where the law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep information
We keep form submissions and related emails for as long as we need them to respond, to support any resulting business relationship, and to meet legal and accounting obligations. As a default, we delete inquiries that do not lead to business within 24 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your information
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing
- Complain to a data protection regulator
These rights come from laws such as Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the GDPR and UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Canada. You can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. We are aware of Quebec's Law 25 and apply its principles to personal information we receive from Quebec residents, including transparency about how we use it.
EEA, UK, and Switzerland. You can complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.
California. You can ask what personal information we collect and why, and ask us to delete or correct it. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
To make a request, email us. We may need to confirm your identity before we act. We aim to reply within 30 days.
Security
We use encrypted connections and limit access to the staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information we have not asked for.
Children
This site is for business users. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
